Miner Monitor Privacy Policy
Effective July 17, 2026
Miner Monitor is a Bitcoin miner monitoring app for Bitaxe and AxeOS devices and solo mining pools. The short version: we collect nothing. No accounts, no ads, no analytics, no tracking. Your mining data goes from your miner to your screen, and nowhere else.
Summary
- We do not collect, store, or sell any personal data.
- There are no accounts, no sign-ins, and no analytics or tracking SDKs.
- Everything you add in the app stays on your device.
- Purchases are handled entirely by Apple. We never see payment details.
Data stored on your device
The miners and pool accounts you add (device addresses, Bitcoin payout addresses, labels, and alert settings) are stored locally on your device so the app and its Home Screen widgets can show your stats. This information never leaves your device except as described below, and it is deleted when you delete the app.
Connections the app makes
- Your miners. The app talks directly to the mining devices on your own network to read their stats and, if you ask, restart them. This traffic stays between your device and your miners.
- Public mining pools. If you add a solo pool account, the app queries that pool's public API (public-pool.io or solo.ckpool.org) using the Bitcoin payout address you entered. The address is sent to that pool only because that is how their public stats lookup works; we do not operate those services, and their own policies apply to them.
The app makes no other network connections. There is no server of ours receiving your data.
Notifications
Alerts about temperature, hashrate, and offline miners are generated locally on your device. If a future update adds optional cloud-delivered pool alerts, enabling them will be your choice, and this policy will be updated first to describe exactly what that feature sends and stores.
Purchases
Miner Monitor Pro is offered through Apple's in-app purchase system. Apple processes the transaction; we never see your name, payment details, or billing information. Purchases can be managed or refunded through your Apple account.
Children's privacy
Miner Monitor is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone, children included.
Changes to this policy
If the app's data practices ever change, this page will be updated before that version ships, with a new effective date above.
